Ukraine Donation Update
Friends,
In this morning’s newsletter, I shared that I was looking for NGO’s (non-government organizations) and non-profits who were accepting Bitcoin donations to support the people of Ukraine. The world is uniting in alliance with Ukraine, which is a beautiful thing to witness during the atrocity of war, and I’ve been wanting to join that support.
Just a few hours ago, the official government of Ukraine announced that they are accepting direct donations of Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDT stablecoin. Rather than having to conduct due diligence on non-profit organizations and decide which one is the most credible or most effective, I believe donating directly to the Ukrainian government is the best avenue for expressing my support.
Because blockchain infrastructure is a public ledger, we are able to see that Ukraine’s wallet has received over $4.2M in the past few hours from people across the world. This is an amazing expression of unity and support for Ukraine by the crypto community. I’m happy to share that I have just sent 0.00064 Bitcoin and 0.009 Ethereum, a total of $50, to both of these wallet addresses.
I feel compelled to share this development with you, to let you know that crypto is helping to facilitate the defense of a nation’s independence and right to exist. If you’ve been looking for an avenue to support Ukraine, and have crypto to do so, please consider this option.
If you donate at least $50 of BTC, ETH, or USDT, please send me proof and I will provide you a premium subscription for 12 months. If you have never conducted a crypto transaction before, this will also be a great learning experience for you. If you have questions about it, email me directly and I can help you through the process.
Please send a transaction ID, a screenshot of a completed transfer from your wallet, or an email confirmation from your exchange to my personal email and I will give you a free membership for 12 months. For example, here’s the transaction ID from my ETH donation:
My Ethereum transaction ID, which can be verified on Etherscan: 0x20d5bcbe1e15afc2362e0fa2c9b7b37b31fb90b8ec731f08cfb9965dfbf94cbc
