The Top Stocks on My Radar

As you now know, I recently committed to publishing weekly watch lists on a go-forward basis for premium subscribers. I’m extremely excited for this release, considering the success of the several watch lists I’ve posted in the past. The most recent version that I published on October 2nd has performed extremely well, drastically outperforming the broader market. Because that report was published on a Saturday, here is how the portfolio has performed since the market open on 10/4/21:
In 33 calendar days, this portfolio generated an average return of +12.86% vs. the S&P 500’s +9.23%. While that may not seem like a substantial margin of outperformance, it’s actually very significant over a 1-month period. If we compare two investors who each invest $100k for a monthly return of +12.86% vs. a monthly return of +9.23%, here is how those investors would fare after 12 months:
The first investor was able to increase his initial investment by 4.2x while the second investor increased by 2.8x. Both are amazing levels of returns over a 12-month period, but one is clearly superior. With both investors putting in $100k at the start, the difference between the two investors’ returns is nearly $140k by the end of the year. When I published the watch list on 10/2, I said that this list had a strong likelihood of outperforming the S&P 500 over the next 2-12 weeks. So far, that’s exactly what’s happened.

These stocks come from a basket of over 400 companies that I consistently track which I consider to be “investment grade”.
